This week, Dr. Ben Farcy, Dr. Arevalo, and Dr. McDonough won a 3.2 million dollar grant to fund their work on the PLASMA instrument. Read more below!

The M-CLASS Lab, along with our national and international partners, just submitted our first mission proposal in response to the NASA Payloads and Research Investigations on the Surface of the Moon (PRISM) Program solicitation. We hope to explore the chemical composition, including mineralogy, trace element chemistry, and organic inventory, of the silica-rich Gruithuisen Domes and adjacent lunar mare.

Dr. Arevalo presented his work on the detection of short peptides identified as prospective psychrophilic biosignatures with the CORALS instrument.
